Corinne Bailey-Rae best collection to your iPod. Corinne Bailey-Rae is mourning over the sudden and tragic death of her husband. Its alleged that saxophonist Jason Rae, 31, died of a drink and drug overdose. Police found his body on Saturday in the Hyde Park area of Leeds, and subsequently arrested a 32 year old man on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
Rae was the saxophonist in The Haggis Horns, who’d performed with Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse. The band have cancelled their upcoming shows.
Corinne and Jason met in a Leeds jazz club and were married in 2001.
